As a treat for the ever hardworking staff, the crew at Wight Fire & Security recently went go-karting at the track Westridge. Competing for the Wight Fire Cup, competition was intense throughout the six races. Handling the karts became increasingly difficult throughout the evening as persistent drizzle made maneuvering very difficult. In the final race the pre-competition favorite, Liam Power, made his way through the field, starting in 8th place on the grid but finishing with a commanding lead over Steve Craft in second place and a very frustrated Adrian Lloyd in third.
Talk has already started about making the event an annual occasion. However certain Director’s have yet to recover from injuries inflicted from this years racing!
