Please rest assured that the Directors of Wight Fire and Security have taken stringent steps to try and ensure the continued safety of their employees and customers during the current COVID-19 crisis.
All employees have been issued a set of guidelines in line with Government guidance in terms of isolation if showing symptoms and if any one that they live with shows any symptoms. To help ensure that this takes place the Directors have undertaken to pay employees their full salary for as long as practicably possible, so that they don’t need to worry about their living expenses being covered while they are not available to work.
Office staff are operating in two separate teams, alternating between home working and being based within the office, with regular cleaning of all exposed surfaces taking place between the two shifts. Our engineers have all been issued with instructions to wash their hands on entering and leaving customers premises and have been issued with anti-bacterial cleaning equipment to help to achieve minimal risk of passing any infection on. All employees have also been issued with a thermometer to measure their temperature prior to starting work each day. Measures have also been taken to limit contact between all employees to minimise the risk of infection passing between staff members.
We will continue to offer our best efforts to maintain our high standards of service during this difficult time. We have spent time drafting robust contingency plans in the event of a worsening of the crisis and aim to be able to offer as complete a service as we possibly can do. If any clients wish to discuss our full Coronavirus policy in detail then they should contact Steve Winter or Jay Lock on 01983 407155 or sales@wightfire.co.uk.
