As Fire Safety continues to be an essential part of life protection within buildings, Wight Fire are continuing to work as normally as is practicably possible. We have retained the required safety procedures throughout the pandemic, as our priority remains the welfare of our customers and of course, our engineers and office team.
In an effort to go above and beyond the recommended safety measures we also have the office sprayed with an anti-bacterial agent on a monthly basis. This is carried out by our friends at Top Mops and ensures that all surfaces within the office remain virus free for 28 days.
The latest measure implemented is the introduction of PouchPass wristbands for all staff. These watch like devices keep a constant record of all of our employees temperatures at all times. If an individuals temperature rises then an alarm is raised and that individual will immediately be sent home and requested to go for a Covid test. This is yet another way we are trying to keep our employees and customers safe in these troubling times and should act as a reassurance that we are making every possible effort to keep everyone safe. This is especially important when our daily work takes us into a variety of premises including care homes, the prison, the hospital and of course residential property.
