As has been recently publicised by Isle of Wight Radio our competitors Sightguard have hit some trading difficulties and are no longer be able to offer police response support. Southern Monitoring, Sightguard’s preferred monitoring station have written to their account customers stating that they will no longer be providing monitoring services on Sightguard’s behalf as of Friday 24th November 2017. As such we have been inundated with calls from concerned property and business owners in need of urgent help and assistance to keep their intruder alarms maintained and backed up by a reliable monitoring service.
We are pleased to have obtained SSAIB accreditation earlier in the year and as such we can offer the above services. We also have a good trading relationship with Southern Monitoring so we have reached an agreement with them enabling us to transfer existing Sightguard accounts in to our name without loss of coverage for the client or the need to install expensive new equipment. To achieve this we will need formal notification from the client confirming their desire for us to take over the servicing and monitoring of their intruder alarm system.
There is obviously a large amount of demand for our services at this time and we have engineers working overtime to keep up with demand. Please bear with us while we carry out inspections to the new sites and rest assured we will do all in our power to make the transition as seemless as possible.
If any Sightguard customers would like to discuss the transfer of the intruder alarm maintenance and monitoring then please don’t hesitate to contact the team at Wight Fire & Security who will do all they can to assist you.
