Wight Fire Co Ltd was formed in the early 80’s and attained BSI Approval in 1985. We pride ourselves in providing a quality service to all of our customers.
As a requirement of the new Fire Safety Order legislation that came into force on the 1st October 2006 responsible persons must ensure the competency of their contractors.
Wight Fire Co Ltd is a B.S.I. ISO 9001 approved company, a BAFE registered company and our engineers are BAFE registered service technicians.
A BAFE registered company is acknowledged in new Government legislation as the sure way of demonstrating competence and it will form an essential part of your Duty of Care. This level of professional competence sets us apart from the everyday fire protection company, giving our customers peace of mind that they are buying from a reputable company that can issue an independent third party certificate of conformity for the work carried out.
Wight Fire Co Ltd is a founder member of our trade association IFEDA to enable our company to keep up to date on legislation and industry changes.
Wight Fire Co Ltd is NICEIC approved for the maintenance/installation of fire alarms and emergency lighting.
Failure to adhere to the Fire Safety Order guidelines may invalidate some insurance policies.
