Wight Fire Co Ltd was formed in the early 80’s and attained BSI Approval in 1985. We pride ourselves in providing a quality service to all of our customers.
As a requirement of the new Fire Safety Order legislation that came into force on the 1st October 2006 responsible persons must ensure the competency of their contractors. At Wight Fire Co Ltd we have always taken pride in ensuring our fire extinguisher engineers are fully qualified in accordance with the British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE), and Wight Fire Co Ltd is NICEIC approved for the maintenance/installation of fire alarms and emergency lighting. We are BSI ISO9001 approved company. These accreditations confirm our competency.
Failure to adhere to the Fire Safety Order guidelines may invalidate some insurance policies.
We are the largest Fire Safety Specialist on the Isle of Wight with over 4000 customer accounts, below is a list of some our customers which range from the Isle of Wight Council properties (including County Hall, the council operated schools, libraries and leisure centres) to private residences.
We offer 24 hour islandwide coverage, run a fleet of 8 vehicles and have a total of 18 team members.
